Privacy policy
This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit alfaimmobiliare.ch or contact us, why we do so and what rights you have. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for people located in the European Union, on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we process
- Technical browsing data. When you visit the website, the server hosting it automatically records some data in its log files: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type and operating system. This is used only to run the website and protect it from abuse.
- Data you send us. If you use the contact form or write to us by email or phone, we process the data you provide: name, email address, phone number (if given) and the content of your message.
We do not use analytics, profiling or advertising tools, and we do not embed third-party content (maps, videos, social networks). Even the fonts are served from our own server.
3. Why we process it and on what basis
- To answer your requests and give you information about the spaces for rent: processing is based on your request and on pre-contractual steps (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the website running and secure: processing is based on our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To meet legal obligations, if your request leads to a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
4. How long we keep it
- Server logs: for the technical period set by the hosting provider, usually a few weeks.
- Contact requests: for as long as needed to handle them, and no longer than 24 months after the last contact. If a contract follows, the statutory retention periods apply (in Switzerland up to 10 years for accounting records).
5. Who we share it with
Only with the providers we need to run the website and email. They process the data on our behalf and according to our instructions:
- the website hosting provider, Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva (servers in Switzerland);
- the email provider that receives the messages sent through the form, also Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland).
We do not transfer data to countries without an adequate level of protection. Should a provider process data abroad, it would do so only with the safeguards required by law, such as standard contractual clauses.
6. Security
The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Data sent through the form is not stored on the website: it is forwarded by email and read only by the people handling your request.
7. Your rights
You can ask us at any time:
- what data we process about you, and for a copy of it (right of access);
- to correct inaccurate data;
- to erase your data or restrict its processing;
- to object to the processing;
- to receive your data in a commonly used electronic format (portability), where the law provides for it.
Write to info@alfaimmobiliare.ch and we will reply within 30 days. To protect your data we may ask you to confirm your identity.
If you believe your data is not being handled correctly, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch) or, if you live in the European Union, the supervisory authority of your country.

9. Changes
We may update this policy, for example if the services offered on the website change. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
